His peers recognized him for his success in junior golf, hosting PGA TOUR events, strong business management, and team building.

Brody has been actively involved in various committees within the Section and at his club, providing guidance and leadership to help improve club policies and promote the game of golf. He has also been recognized in the past as Merchandiser of the Year for the State of Michigan Private Clubs and nominated for National Merchandiser of the Year by the PGA. Brody and his wife, Jenn, operate the golf shop at Warwick Hills, offering a wide range of golf accessories and equipment.

The Brody family’s legacy in golf extends beyond Doug, as his wife, Jennifer, played on the Epson Tour and the LPGA Tour, and their daughter, Kate, is a two-time Michigan High School Women’s State Golf Champion. Kate currently attends the University of Wisconsin on a golf scholarship.
