Champion Lakes Golf Course in McAllen, Texas, will be hosting the Drive, Chip & Putt Local Qualifier on May 3, 2024, in partnership with the Southern Texas Professional Golf Association (STPGA) and the McAllen Parks & Recreation Department. The event is open to junior golfers ages 7 to 15 years old, with participants having the chance to qualify for the Regional portion and potentially compete at the National Competition at Augusta National Golf Club. This competition provides an opportunity for junior golfers of all skill levels to get involved in the game of golf and focuses on the fundamentals of the sport.
