This article highlights the collaboration between FootJoy, the renowned shoe brand in golf, and independent agency Opinionated to create a new spot titled ‘Joy Ride.’ The spot features top PGA Tour golfer Max Homa demonstrating the joy of hitting a perfect tee shot while wearing his FootJoy Pro/SLX shoes. The campaign also includes appearances by other prominent golfers like Davis Riley, Wyndham Clark, and Danielle Kang admiring Homa’s performance. Directed by Randy Krallman of Smuggler, the spot is accompanied by the classic song ‘I’m Not in Love’ by 10cc.

The ‘Joy Ride’ spot follows FootJoy’s previous campaign ‘Pin Hunters,’ with a cinematic Spaghetti Western style, and is set to air during the Valero Texas Open on NBC and The Golf Channel. The campaign will also be shown across various platforms including broadcast, social media, and digital platforms like Peacock and YouTube.

Credits for the campaign go to FootJoy for the brand, Opinionated for the creative work, and SMUGGLER for production. Post-production and VFX were done by Royal Muster Post Production and Parliament, while editorial work was handled by Friendshop. Butter Music provided the music and sound for the spot.
