Kayla Thompson, a golfer aiming to reach the LPGA Tour, recently advanced to the Epson Tour after a successful round in the LPGA Tour Qualifying School. Thompson credits her new coach, Matt Ball, for helping her improve her game. She has been practicing and training for the upcoming season, where she aims to earn her LPGA Tour card. Thompson’s journey started when she picked up the game of golf at a later age and excelled in high school by playing on the boys’ team. She then went on to play for UNC Wilmington, where she made lifelong memories with her coach.
